We Are Christians Only:

We are attempting to be Christians only, without denominational names and practices. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and we try to follow it alone. Since no denominational names are found in the Bible, no denominational names are worn. We have no human creeds to set forth doctrine because the Bible contains all the Christian is to believe.

The Authority Of Jesus Christ:

We accept Jesus Christ as Lord and respect His authority. Jesus said, "And why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?" (Luke 6:46). To add to, or take from, the simple instruction of Jesus is to fail to honor Him as Lord. We have no conferences, synods, councils, nor earthly headquarters because Christ has not authorized these.

Investigate All Things:

We urge you to investigate! It is our fervent prayer that you, our friend, will not go to the judgment of Christ without investigating the teachings of the Word of God. Why? Because men have made additions to the worship and practice of those who would follow Christ. While many of these changes may be popular and often practiced, we have absolutely no assurance that God approves of these changes. Where you spend eternity depends on what you do now. We urge you to study the Bible, and follow it as the only infallible guide in religious matters. We are not a sect; we have no literature to sell, and we offer no creed books. We earnestly plead with you to investigate the Bible!

The Gospel For All:

We would be happy to study the Bible with you. We want to encourage you to obey God and would consider it a joy to help you. We preach the message of the crucified and risen Lord. We urge all to accept God's free gift of eternal life. God's plan for forgiveness involves hearing the Gospel, as hearing will have you believe, believing will lead you to repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 20:21), confession of Jesus as the Christ (Romans 10:10), and baptism for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38), followed by a life of faithful service to Christ (Revelation 2:10).

Obedient Faith:

We understand that in order for our faith to be pleasing to God we must trust Him to the extent of obeying Him. It is through faith that we are God's children. "For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ" (Galatians 3:26-27). Obedience includes baptism by immersion, at which time your sin dies and you are caught up in Christ and born into your new life and family as a Christian, placing you into the proper relationship with God.

All who are in fellowship with Christ are members of His universal body, the church (I Corinthians 12:12; Colossians 1:18). The universal church is a spiritual body. It has no physical organization. Wherever members extend fellowship to each other in worship and work, a congregation is found. Every Christian should be a part of such a congregation. We read in the Bible of churches in Jerusalem, Rome, and in other places. These were not different kinds of churches, but congregations of Christians in various places. We want to be a congregation of Christians -- a church of Christ-- in your community. Your comments and questions are welcomed.

Every First Day Of The Week:

In keeping with the effort to carefully follow the Bible, the Lord's Supper is observed as a memorial every Sunday. The early Christians met every first day of the week (I Corinthians 16:2). They came together to keep this memorial on the Lord's Day (Acts 20:7).

Acappella Music:

With the desire not to add to the Lord's instructions, no musical instruments are used in worship. Christians were instructed to sing, "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:19).

When You Visit Us:

You may expect to be treated as our honored and respected guest. You will not be embarrassed in any way, nor solicited for contributions. Our worship consists only of those activities authorized for Christians. On the first day of the week (Acts 20:7) the Lord's Supper is commemorated (I Corinthians 11:24-26), God is praised by singing (Colossians 3:16), prayer is offered (I Corinthians 14:15), and God's Word is the basis for all teaching (Acts 2:42). Each member gives as he has purposed in his heart (I Corinthians 16:1-2; II Corinthians 9:7). We welcome you to meet with us.
